Our pressure-sensing touchpads, linear motor driver chips, and reference designs can be used to design novel human-machine interactions and new user experience. The physical power and volume buttons on the sides of a mobile phone can be done away with, while enabling richer sliding and grip experience. Moreover, it can also be applied in full-screen mobile phones to enable in-screen pressure, fingerprint triggering, and Home button functionality.
